oglivy just had another round of layoffs before the holiday, they just landed ups and still layed off people who had been there for over 15 years. I cant tell you what a horrible mismanaged mess that place is because it is so bad its beyond words. Can you imagine a fking brit comes to america to tell american advertising people they now work in a factory, you got to see this to believe how f**ked up it is there, so bad that i asked to be laid off because the place would make any professional physically sick!

The only thing I ever saw at Ogilvy were massive layoffs, disastrous pitches, and lost accounts. And the world churns . . .

I totally agree with the comments. I used to work there and it has been sucking for last several years. Everything they said is right. It’s become a company full of ego and politics. I am never touching advertising again. Those people are so self-important you would not believe.

chris wall is over rated. the comment below is absolutely right. he can’t break free of the IBM model. he’s a one trick pony without a doubt.
