Breaking News:

The Daily Anchor has just received an inside tip that heads are being culled at Rapp Ad Agency in Ogilvy-style.

Higher salaried employees and freelancers are getting the boot, but managers are said to be safe for now.

The initial report is that 10% of their workforce will be cut, and that thus far 13 have been laid off in New York and 6 in Chicago.

I’ll be updating this post throughout the day as more information becomes available, so check back for updates.

Calls to Rapp have not been returned.

If you’re a current or recently axed Rapp employee send me an email with whatever information you can share. I’d like to substantiate as much of this information as possible with multiple independent sources.

The Daily Anchor is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of our sources and will never publish personally identifiable information without explicit consent.

Rapp, also known at Rat(t) could be the worst agency on Madison Ave.
