It seems like every time we turn on the news these days, we hear a glass-half-empty attitude about everything. And for good reason. There are a lot of bad things going on in this world right now. It has gotten to the point where I can hardly bear to watch the nightly news (both local and national.) Lately, I just turn it off, because it can be so depressing. So I decided that I wanted to put together a list of GOOD things going on in this world. These are things that we can be proud of and that can put a smile on your face during these dismal times. Most of these, if any, are not related to marketing, advertising or sales, like we at The Daily Anchor pride ourselves on, but who cares… All of these stories will hopefully take your mind off of reality for a bit.
- We have a new President. Whether you like him or not, he is not George W. Bush and that is great news!
